Providing hope through life changing experiences for all.
We love the marginalized and forgotten.
We love the marginalized and forgotten.
For the Kingdom has provided life changing experiences for Memphis youth for over 21 years. As the community has changed we have recognized our need to do more for our neighbors. Our constant prayer has been "Lord teach us how to love our neighbors." As covid-19 hit Memphis we recognized how many of our young friends were going without meals so we expanded our mission to provide for the basic human needs of all people.
We are fortunate through our Feed The Block initiative we have an opportunity to interact with our neighbors. Our meals have become a vehicle for us to show unconditional love. That unconditional love we have experienced from our brother Jesus we are excited to now give without expecting anything in return.
At the heart of what we do is engage young people. The FTK youth engagement strategy is to represent the love of Jesus to the youth in our community; through camps, retreats, clinics, and mentoring we aim to provide opportunities for peace, hope, and development.
As we embark on the summer, our camp goal is to offer 1000 campers free scholarships.
